I greatly appreciate the privilege of serving as Chairman of the Old Saybrook Board of Education. It is truly an honor to work with our outstanding board members, administrators, teachers, staff, parents, students, town and entire community who all collectively contribute to our excellent school district. The Board of Education is comprised of nine volunteer members who generously give of their time and talent to form the leadership team, along with our Superintendent and other district leaders, supporting high-quality education for all of our students, while being fiscally prudent and ensuring that taxpayer’s hard-earned dollars are very well spent. We are particularly proud of the many accomplishments of our fine students and our award winning schools, educators, staff and administrative team. Old Saybrook’s Schools are recognized as cutting-edge and innovative and we believe that with proper planning and diligent implementation we will continue to lead the way as 21st Century Education evolves to make our graduates extremely productive and personally fulfilled members of the global community.
